Weather is getting warmer

Be sure to keep your children well-hydrated.

Also, I need back those permission slips to take the children to the beach next week. This is a private area, with lifeguards and a netted off play area in the shallows.

If you intend to attend as well, please let me know so we can plan the correct number of bentos.

Happiness is...

Getting a surprise gift from one of the children's mothers for simply doing my job. But it would be rude to refuse, so I am grateful. Thank you.

In related news, I have a large stash of yarn and intend to do a little knitting. Anyone want a sweater...or a swimsuit?
